Wish by The Cure.
I like this record. Quite a bit. Some of the songs on it are among my favorites in their catalog. Top to bottom, however, it’s not in their top 5. The funny thing about it was that they left some outstanding tracks as b-sides. I’m not going to second guess Robert Smith’s creative decisions, but one of the things I did back in 1993 (after all of the CD5 singles were out) was re-cut this record with those b-sides included. On a high-quality maxell blank tape. And yes, I left off “Friday I’m In Love”. Sue me. It’s just not that good of a song.
